Hey Dan,
Just a question about using the modes. Does licks from A Dorian, B Phrygian etc just sound like your playing G major licks over a G major progression? I was under the impression that you would use A Dorian licks over a A natural minor progression as A Dorian would give a different sound to just using A natural minor licks.

yeah its all G, if you wanted to play it over A then you would use an A major scale and then start on the second and third to get the dorian and phrygian scales

This video does not show HOW to do it. It just shows What.
The video quality is crap as well so I would not invest in this course

This IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS.This video set is geared more for people who already know something about the guitar. I made a mistake thinking this would really "show me how". there's too many "loopholes " in it for someone who knows absoultely nothing about how to play guitar.

thnx for showin the vid its pretty gd..but there was no zoom in on ur hand so i cldnt actually see wat u were doin.. u completely lost me lol :D lookin forward to the lead guitar secrets though..i hope they help me out ok cz i'v ad me guitar for almost 3ys n i cnt play a thing lol
